About Us

Anthony Tucker

Dear Hoopers,

Let’s get straight to the point – I LOVE the game of basketball. It has been the thing that I have been most passionate about and cared for since the time I can remember. I am thrilled about the opportunity to teach the game I love to so many of you – from veteran players as passionate about the game as me, to those who are just beginning to discover their love for the game. I have been fortunate enough to experience basketball at every level, as both a coach and player, and have developed a unique perspective that I am excited to share with the present and future of Minnesota basketball.

Our Approach

At Hoop Habits, our training method is designed to not only develop skills, but to teach athletes how to apply our training techniques and concepts to live game situations. Conceptual training is as important, if not more, than individual drill work. We focus on concepts such as spacing, reading the defense, and preparing for situations that athletes will encounter throughout the course of a game. We want to see you apply what we work on at Hoop Habits on the court – and give you the confidence to say “WE WORK ON THAT!”
